1min 35- writing has somehow been cut since uploading- should say "Noone would suspect harmless me"
47 seconds- "They made me do it"
Magazine
This is my magazine cover, I decided to use the colours red, black and white because they are vibrant and really stand out, I think that they would attract people to want to read it because the writing is quite large and engaging. I wanted the magazine to be more about the actress opposed to being about the film itself because I want my magazine to be more about promoting new actors and actresses. Overall I think that it looks quite successful and it looks quite approachable.
Poster
This is my final poster I decided to use this as my poster because I think it can come across as quite sinister and dark. I kept the colours quite basic. I didnt want to add too much
Mock-ups of posters
This is a picture from my filming I like the symbolisation behind the one bird on its own.
I think that this poster is the most effective and dynamic and I think it is quite sinister in a way.I dont think that this poster is very successful because it isnt dark and sinister enough, also the character looks too cconfident whereas she is supposed to be lonely and more afraid.
This is another still from my filming but I dont think that it would work because there isnt a person to engage the audience with.
Final distribution companies
These are the production companies that I have researched in to and I think are appropriate for my film.

Posters for inspiration

The main thing that I am taking from these posters is the darkness of the colours which I will try and manipulate into my work.

Jean Louis Bompoint
Jean-Louis Bompoint was born in La Rochelle, France, June 10, 1960. As a youth he was fascinated with cinema and music. In the 1990's he began his career as a director of photography. He made international commercials, music videos and feature films in France, the USA, Germany, Asia and the UK. In 2011 the International London Film Festival awarded him the "Silver Award of Cinematography".
I have decided to look at the director Jean Louis Bompoint because he has a very unique style of filming that is very realistic and clever and I think that the work that he has helped produced is really interesting...

New York I love you
Broken Lines
Grace is gone.....And many more
Title Ideas
From this research I have decided to call my film "Eye For An Eye" because I dont want it to be a harsh title, I want it to sound slighlty innocent and it almost sounds like a game and because the characters are all quite young I want it to appeal to a younger audience, also the phrase "Eye For An Eye" has a slight ring to it and I think it would be quite memorable as a title of a film.

Looking at films from the past
Lace maker (1977)
Initial plot (imdb)Yepok Beatrice is a very reserved and quiet young woman. Her friend Marylene is left by her lover and brings her to Cabourg (Normandy) for a few days' vacation. There, Beatrice, an apprentice hairdresser, meets Francois, a middle-class intellectual. Francois becomes her first lover, but their social and cultural differences get in the way of happiness. -- IMDb Plot: The Lacemaker (1977)
The film is listed as a romantic/drama which doesn't reflect my film but the set up of the story is, being Yepok a quiet young woman which corresponds well with my film, from this film I have been influenced by the-
The quietness of the character
The individuality and quirkiness
Carrie (1976)
I have looked into this film Carrie, I have not yet watched the film itself but from an initial look into the trailer and the plot it corresponds with my film quite well. From the relationship with the mother to the revenge of her fellow peers who pick on her at any chance they can. I can definitely use this as inspiration for my film however my initial response from the trailer is that it is quite cheesy and in my trailer I want to create more of a sense of being alone and keep it away from a school environment as it then becomes too cliche, also my film will be quite artistic with views of the location, which is an influence from the film Submarine and something that Carrie lacks, however so far this film relates to mine the most plot wise and there are definitely things that I can take from this to help me progress with my trailer.
It is an old film however it still has all of the stereotypes of the characters, yet it doesn't give much away about what she actually does to get her revenge whereas I want to show short cuts of the revenge itself so that the audience can see what the film has in store. I also like the fact that they have included her mother into why she behaves the way she does but I don't want mine to be quite as extreme as how they have shown. Furthermore I am going to watch this film so I can get more of an idea of what it is about which can hopefully influence me more with my work.

More detail into my synopsis
Basically the main character is a girl of about 18 who wants to take her revenge on these three girls who are making her life a complete misery and nightmare. She is a very reserved character who doesnt like to speak much but only if she really has to, she spends alot of time alone and doing unusual activities, she lives with her mother who doesnt understand her at all and wants her to become more outgoing. She doesn't intend on killing the first girl as she just wanted to warn her off, however she then realises that since one of the girls have now gone that the others haven't quite picked on her so much and the police don't suspect her initially because they saw her as the original victim. It's only when she murders the next girl; because of a comment that the girl makes that accuses her of being a suspect, that people become more suspicious and wary, the main character then becomes crazed with guilt yet she is not seen as sinister so its for the audience to decide whether she is the actual "bad person". It is going to end with the main character taking her own life as a result of having no friends, being racked with guilt and no support from her mother.
